Dr. Franklin Smisson
Dr. Smisson is a proud third-generation physician, continuing his family’s legacy of dedicated healthcare. Born and raised in Macon, he has deep roots in the community and a steadfast commitment to serving its residents.
Dr. Smisson and his wife, Campbell, are raising their three children in the very town that shaped his values and passion for medicine. With a heart for his hometown, Dr. Smisson is devoted to providing exceptional care and making a lasting impact in Macon for generations to come.
Jessica Pate, Clinical Coordinator
I have been employed with Vineville Internal Medicine since 2020 and have worked in the medical field since 2017. I am passionate about contributing to the healthcare community and take great pleasure in interacting with patients and building connections with everyone who visits our practice.
I am very excited about bringing Concierge Care to Vineville and creating personalized experiences for our patients. I am a Macon native. In my free time, I enjoy reading, baking, crocheting and spending time with my significant other, Cody, and our furbabies, Lemon and Pepper.
LaTonya Sandifer, Certified Medical Assistant
I was born and raised in Tuskegee, Alabama, and I moved to Macon, Georgia, over 20 years ago, which is now my home. I have a wonderful husband, Spence, and three children: Dewan, Kalliyah, and Gabrielle. My journey in healthcare began as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a role that nurtured my desire to care for others. Driven by my passion for helping people, I returned to school and proudly graduated from Miller-Motte Technical College as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. With more than 15 years of experience, I specialize in Nephrology and have dedicated my career to educating and empowering others to achieve their full potential. Family, faith and friends are at the heart of our lives, as we are devoted members of Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in cooking up delicious meals, exploring thrift stores for hidden treasures, and dancing to the rhythm of life. In my downtime, you’ll often find me lacing up my running shoes for a refreshing jog, embracing both the challenge and the serenity it brings.
